 Dr. Preston Sims is a licensed psychologist with over fifteen years experience providing counseling,  psychotherapy and conducting psychological evaluations. As a clinical  psychologist, he has treated individuals, groups, couples and families  in various settings including private practice, U.S. Naval Bases in San  Diego and private psychiatric hospitals. He is the former Director of  Psychology at Aurora Behavioral Health, a private psychiatric hospital  in San Diego where he supervised psychology interns and post-doctoral  fellows in psychology. As a forensic psychologist, he has conducted  forensic mental health assessments for San Diego Superior Court, San  Diego Juvenile Court and by private attorney referral since 1998. He is  the former co-chair of the San Diego Psychological Association Forensic  Committee and has made presentations to the San Diego Criminal Defense Bar and the San Diego Psych-Law Society. He has conducted forensic mental health evaluations for the State of California since 2006.
